Big Wall Basics

When: Friday August 25th

Where: Boulder Canyon

Who: For experienced climbers interested in climbing big walls.

What: Aid climbing, hauling techniques and anchoring skills for big wall routes. Depending on the experience level of participants, topics may include body-weight hauling, mechanical advantage systems, moving efficiently using direct aid, tricks for cleaning efficiently, setting up a portaledge, high-angle problem-solving, and speed climbing systems for in-a-day ascents.
